MM: WHO are you?
JC: Joe Nigel Coleman.
Enjoys long walks on the beach etc.

WHAT the hell is your work about?

I don’t really know. I suppose it’s a bit of a reflection of my lifestyle, memories, dreams, desires.

WHEN did you realise you were in tune with the right side of your brain?

I started creating photos about the same time I started eating kale (2008). I reckon there’s a connection there somewhere.

WHERE do you draw inspiration from?

Moon, ocean, music, mountains, friends, dreams. Loads of people I see creating amazing things everyday (the internet is good for that).

WHY do you create?

The urge to document my life, wanting to portray things that I find interesting/beautiful in my own way.

HOW does the magic happen – creative process of candid creativity?

Big bowl of kale, then out on an adventure.

Plans for 2013?

I’m currently working a full time office job, saving to fund a big trip through the Americas later in the year, and creating a photo book. If anyone (over there) wants to hang/cook me some pasta/go on an adventure, please get in touch.

So we can stay in the loop, what’s your dot com(s)?
