What’s even better than your favourite label releasing a shiny, new collection? A cool collaboration, that’s what, and there isn’t any shortage of terrific team-ups coming this way to get your blood pumping and your credit card trembling in fear.
French visionary and creator of laidback cool, Isabel Marant, will be teaming up with H&M for a capsule range to be released in stores on November 14. H&M is no stranger to a good designer collab, with the likes of Lanvin and Stella McCartney having already had very successful lines with the chain. We’ve been told to expect urban attitude, boho elegance, and rock ‘n’ roll spirit. You’ll have to purchase online and ship to Aus via an American mail forwarding service, but designer pieces at chain stores prices? I am pretty sure it will be well worth your while.
In quite possibly the most appropriate pair up since, well, ever, Sarah Jessica Parker is set to design a line of shoes for none other than Manolo Blanikh. It seems all Ms. Bradshaw’s years spent running around New York in killer heels will pay off next February when “feminine shapes, plenty of low heels, and unusual color combinations like navy and mocha” will take the shelves. Your feet should be very excited.
Quirky blogger Susie Bubble and Phil Oh (the man behind Street Peeper) have just teamed up with Urban Outfitters and the outcome has been some seriously funky patterned shirts and asymmetric skirts, and all for under $150. There’s even a bomber jacket with a tiger, panda, and taco embroidered on it; how alternative of them. There’s currently free shipping on every order over 50 bucks so hop to it!
And finally, fresh off the announcement bandwagon (just last night) Aussie How Two Live gals Jess and Stef will be releasing a line of shoes with Windsor Smith. Knowing these two, we can expect some it-shoes to be pumped out. My excitement knows no words.
So what are you waiting for? Shop two brands for the price of one now, amigos!
