MM: WHO are you?

Hello, first of all thanks for the opportunity to speak to you. I love the magazine. I am a Portuguese photographer, working primarily on projects for authors who seek greater exposure of their work before it is published.

WHAT is your work about?

My work is about many things. Sometimes it is about the company, their problems, and virtues. However, my work is also about self-expression and how I view the world around me.

WHEN did you realise you were in tune with the right side of your brain?

Hahaha! I have been aware for a very long time now.

WHERE do you draw inspiration?

I’ll get inspiration from many places, books, movies, and other photographers. But mostly, my inspiration is derived from life itself; it is the greatest source of inspiration.

WHY do you create?

I create because it gives me great pleasure to see an extension of me, transformed into something new and concrete.

HOW does the magic happen? What is your creative process?

Depends, sometimes it is a situation that happens to me and I develop a project from there.

ANY plans for the rest of 2014?

I have a collective exhibition in Italy; an exhibition ground here in Portugal; and I will continue to work on my projects.

WHERE can our readers find more of your work?

You can find more of my work through my website and by The Unknown Books. I hope you enjoy.

THANKS for your time, Fàbio!

Thank you! All the best, from this friend of yours in Portugal.
