GOVERNMENT conspiracies have always been an intriguing topic, especially when there is so much out there it would take you years to read through it all. This is why movies are always a great way to learn, as they are entertaining and do all the work for you. This week Two time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner (The Avengers, American Hustle and The Bourne Legacy), stars in the latest adaption of a true story that tackles another secret from the government, in a story that looks very interesting and not the norm.

Kill the Messenger is the latest film to come from Michael Cuesta who is famous for his TV series Homeland (2011 – 2012), and is based on the remarkable true story of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Gary Webb (Jeremy Renner), who stumbles onto a story which leads to the shady origins of the men who started the crack epidemic on the streets of North America and further more finds a connection with the CIA, who were profiting off the importation. When Webb gets in to deep, his journey takes him to dangerous places drawing all the kind of attention that threatens not just his career, but his family and his life.
