WHEN Japanese photographer Haruhiko Kawaguchi first presented his project, Flesh Love the cyber world of art exploded, with deep fascination and appreciation for his bizarre work. Returning with the second part of the series, it only proves that “Haruhiko’ has a unique talent…

If you ever wanted to be featured in one of his projects, going to a nightclub in Japan would your best shot. In a very interesting recruitment process, “Haruhiko’ chooses people in venues as such, before bringing them to his canvas, where he seals their conjoined bodies inside the bag using a household vacuum that sucks out the air.

“I started to put a couple in vacuum sealed bags with much things used at their daily life or their work, or their favourite thing.” Says “Haruhiko’ when describing his work.  “When they live like the embryo who lives to nutrition and the figure apparently clothes in the disorderly thing on the body goes amniotic fluid in the interior of the womb, they are required things, and the thing which followed the fate chosen as them like all things of a nature and which has stuck, and its arrangement are necessary.”

The continued and various work of this unique artist is thought provoking, and very engaging. It shows the capabilities of exploring our nature, within an artist and individual’s mind.
