FNTASTIC has been working on its game The Day Before for five years. Two years ago, they released a trailer that promised an artfully created massively multiplayer online game, in which players would have to do research to survive in a world destroyed by a zombie apocalypse. This game seemed to have the makings of one of the biggest hits of the year, but The Day Before was one of the worst games of all time (and according to some, maybe even all time).

Boasting maximum realism, realistic reloading and recoil mechanics, and customizable weapons, The Day Before promised a lot to its fans, who had been patiently waiting for the game for two years, and unfortunately, it failed to deliver. promises. According to IGN's Gabriel Moss, the game received an “unbearable” rating:
“The Day Before is easily one of the worst games I've ever played, to the point where I'm afraid to continue running it on my PC – and if you haven't managed to try it, you can consider yourself one of the lucky ones.”
Many players, including Gabriel Moss, have reported serious performance issues with the game, despite playing on a system that should have been more than capable of supporting the game's rendering.

The game's rendering should have been satisfactory, considering the unimaginatively designed world loosely based on New York City. Although it's a decent sized metropolitan city, there isn't much to do, either in the city or in the history, so you don't have much else nothing to do other than loot and take out the trash. According to critics, starvation poses a greater threat than zombies.
In addition to the plethora of issues players and critics had with the game at launch, The Day Before was announced as an MMO, a mass multiplayer online game, and one of the biggest issues was the multiplayer. The game has no multiplayer menu, no multiplayer voice chat, and only a rudimentary in-game chat window. It is almost impossible to know if you are on a team with another player. In his in-depth review, Moss continues:
“I would have had more fun hiding under a dumpster surrounded by zombies than waiting for The Day Before's multiplayer to work.

The Day Before was released on December 7 and was one of the worst releases in video game history. The game's reception was so bad that not only were most copies refunded, but FNTASTIC announced that they wouldn't get anything from the sales.
To add insult to injury, they also announced that the development studio would be shutting down after this disastrous launch. The servers remain up for the few players who purchased the game and aren't getting refunds, but it's almost impossible to get a copy now.
