AMD is reportedly preparing the launch of the latest RDNA 3 desktop graphics cards, including the Radeon RX 7800 and RX 7700. With CES 2024 on the horizon and rival NVIDIA preparing to release its RTX 40 “Super” refresh, it's a good time to unveil new (more affordable) hardware. The latest information comes from a Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) manifesto consisting of several Radeon graphics cards, including the RX 7900 XT, RX 7600, and the RTX 6×50 XT line.
The manifesto mentions the Radeon RX 7700, RX 7800 and RX 7600 XT. These unreleased SKUs could launch in the first quarter of 2024. The RX 7700 and 7800 are very likely candidates to join AMD's desktop GPU lineup as cost-effective options. The RX 7600 Maybe later in 2024?
The Radeon RX 7700/7800 are expected to use the Navi 32 GPU like their XT counterparts. The former will benefit from a generously deactivated die, while the latter will have a slightly reduced shader array. The memory and memory bus should remain unchanged, while the L3 cache could go under the knife. The retail prices of the RX 7800 XT and 7700 price dropsNew cards are making their way onto the market, which has the effect of widening the gap.
