ARB grows 25% in 24 hours, while Arbitrum prepares for big projects in 2024

Krypto News Aktuell auf Deutsch

In the world of cryptocurrencies, there are always new entrants who suddenly appear out of nowhere and outperform the big, established players in the industry. One such name, which has caused a stir in 2023, is Arbitrum (ARB). This crypto giant received an impressive response and quickly climbed the rankings. Developers flocked to Arbitrum, leading to a rapid increase in demand for its network, surpassing companies like Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, and even the impressive Solana.

ARB's meteoric rise is not only a spectacle, but also a testament to its resilience and ability to adapt. In the recent reversal of the cryptocurrency race, ARB demonstrated an impressive turnaround and traded at an enviable level of 1.62 US dollars.

With a 25% rise in the last 24 hours and a solid 42.4% increase over the past week, ARB is showing an impressive rally. This rise contrasts remarkably with the all-time high of US$8.67 reached nine months ago. The journey since its annual low has also been impressive, with an 80% rise that propelled the market capitalization above the $1.6 billion mark.

Arbitrum's appeal goes beyond price dynamics; it has a burgeoning ecosystem filled with big-name developers. According to DeFi Llama, the total value locked increased by 24.3% in the last 24 hours.

Arbitrum is also called Ethereum's Scaling Prodigy, as it was specifically designed to support Ethereum's scalability. Rollups, known as Arbitrum rollups, eliminate the requirement for Ethereum nodes to validate Arbitrum transactions. This suggests that Ethereum will accept arbitrator level credibility for on-chain operations.

According to the 2023 Developer Report, the Arbitrum Chain is one of the fastest growing Layer 2 solutions, growing over 50% year-over-year. Due to this exponential expansion of development, the ecosystem is currently made up of a large number of components.

On March 23, Arbitrum held a groundbreaking airdrop and distributed 1.27 billion ARB tokens to over 600,000 authorized wallets. This spectacle coincided with an increase in daily transactions, reaching a daily peak of 2.73 million, according to Arbiscan.

Sébastien Guillemot, co-founder of DCSpark and Paima Studios, raised the possibility of a collaboration in 2024. He predicted other projects in 2024 integrating Arbitrum with Cardano and Protocol. Guillemot believes that the merger of the two platforms will be particularly beneficial given current market conditions.
