With all of Disney's live-action remakes over the years, some were curious to see what a live-action film version of The Road to El Dorado would look like. Braden Rudd visited Midjourney to find out through AI-generated images. While fans loved most of the images, others found them questionable or at odds with them.

Cast of Beloved Actors
Fans showed some creative freedom when casting The Road to Eldorado actors. Given their dynamic and the chemistry they share on and off screen, Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac were cast as Miguel and Tulio, respectively.
Pascal of course wears Miguel's red shirt and shoulder-length blond hair. His lute has been replaced by a guitar, and he looks more like a lovesick Will Turner than the mischievous, fun-loving Miguel.
Isaac wears Tulio's blue long sleeves and vest, as well as his long hair (although it is not tied up). The footage also shows him with Tulio's trademark mischievous but charming smile and shows him fretting over a map as he and Miguel become more and more lost.
Although Altivo the horse may not have the same range of facial expressions as in the animated film, it would be unforgivable not to include him in the list.
Graham Greene is fantastic as Chief Tannabok. Although his hat isn't as big as that of the animated version of the character, the actor would definitely be the perfect person to capture the chef's expressions.
Zoe Saldana as Chel sparked disagreement among fans. The actress sports a slightly different look than the animated character, with longer earrings, shorter hair and a different colored top. Although she is talented and can do a great job in the role, many believe she is not the right ethnicity or culture.
Finally, Gerardo Taracena was cast as Tzekel-Kan, a sorcerer and the sadistic high priest of Eldorado. He has his face painted red, like the animated character, and sports a similar look, with a red and gold outfit and earrings. Taracena would be a great addition to the cast.

Brilliant-looking sets
Even though fans disagreed with the casting of some characters, no one can deny that the AI-generated sets are fantastic and look like they came straight out of the movie.
A photo of El Dorado, with the mountains in the background as the sun sets behind the city, is stunning. Everything is excellent, from the design of the trees on the banks of the river to the entrance to El Dorado.
The buildings appear to be inspired by both the film and Aztec architecture, as evidenced by their stepped shapes. Even the shots of the arena and El Dorado at night look great, although one focuses more on Bibo the armadillo and the other on a lion statue.

- The concept art of the sets is fantastic.
- Most of the actors have been brilliantly chosen by fans, but of course there are always disagreements over any one of them.
