EcoFlow has built its brand as a renowned sustainable energy solutions company. It was established in 2017. Its first generation products have gained global recognition with renowned options for many users. With its second generation launch in the market, the brand aims to improve its offering and capabilities.
Each of the new EcoFlow power plants is equipped with high-capacity lithium-ion batteries. What really sets them apart is that they have an estimated lifespan of 3,000 full charge cycles. The new series of power plants is more efficient than ever. DELTA 2 can support up to 90% of household appliances. This is due to its 1800W power, which can be increased to 2200W in X-Boost mode.
An anytime, anywhere power solution
The expansion possibilities are another aspect that makes the DELTA 2 solution a major asset for all households. The base unit has a capacity of 1 kWh, which can be increased to 3 kWh through the use of additional batteries. This solution is ideal even in the event of a prolonged power outage. The RIVER 2 series is also available in different storage options.
Additionally, the DELTA 2 and RIVER 2 series can be charged to full capacity in less than two hours. This is due to the increased charging speed of AC. The DELTA 2 is capable of charging at up to 1200W, which takes less than 90 minutes. So even on Stage 6 load shedding days, with potential two-hour gaps between extended outages, you can be sure you'll be fully powered for the next window.
Ideally, these energy solutions should be portable. Each of the three new power plants can be easily transported from one destination to another. The DELTA 2 weighs 12 kg, while the RIVER 2 Max and RIVER 2 units weigh 6.1 kg and 3.5 kg respectively. Users also have the luxury of connecting to their power stations via an app and connecting via Bluetooth or WiFi to access important stats.
The EcoFlow DELTA 2 is more than just a battery
The EcoFlow DELTA 2 is the pinnacle of the new range launched in South Africa. It is a robust energy solution capable of providing users with a large amount of energy in the event of load shedding. With a capacity of up to 3 kWh, you can power a large portion of your home for hours in the event of a power outage. You can become your own electricity supplier.
Users can power their 150W refrigerator for 7-10 hours or their 110W TV for over 8 hours at a time using the base 1 kWh unit.
Although it is designed for home or small office use, its low weight makes it ideal for outdoor adventures and long trips. The back of the device has four AC power outlets, designed to support a total power of 1800W. In total, 13 ports are available for powering the device. In total, there are 13 ports to plug in all your devices at once. Its power is even capable of running your washing machine in the event of load shedding.
As we've already mentioned, with 3,000 recharge cycles, the DELTA 2's lifespan is quite impressive, with some estimates putting it between 8 and 10 years. It can be recharged from 0 to 80% in just 50 minutes and to full capacity in 80 minutes. Additionally, it can be powered by Solca panels, with a full charge taking three hours with optional EcoFlow solutions.
EcoFlow RIVER 2 Series for energy in motion
The RIVER 2 series is the more portable of the two ranges. Two variants have been launched for the range, including the RIVER 2 and the RIVER 2 Max. These are perfect entry-level units for those on a more limited budget and looking for an electric solution.
The RIVER 2 offers a capacity of 256Wh with an output power of 300W, up to 600W using X-Boost. Additionally, the RIVER 2 Max generates up to 500W (or 1000W using X-Boost) with a capacity of 512Wh.
These two units have a lifespan of 3,000 charges, or approximately 10 years of use. Charging takes less than an hour for both AC-connected units. Charging via solar panels takes approximately 4 and 3 hours for the RIVER 2 Max and RIVER 2, respectively.
