The highlights of Townsmen VR

The level of interaction with the world

Players can do whatever they want in the world of Townsmen VR. You can pick up your villagers to take them to different locations on the island faster, move resources if your villagers are taking too long, and even move clouds out of your field of vision. If you're particularly bored, you can amuse yourself with a school of fish passing in front of you or pluck a bird out of the sky if it irritates you. Everything you can think of to interact with, the game developers thought of first.

Well-managed controls

Getting around is relatively simple in Townsmen VR. You can move around the island by grabbing onto a specific area and dragging it. Zooming in and out is also fun. You can zoom out a lot and make the island appear smaller, or you can zoom in to the size of one of your many villagers and follow your favorite like crazy.

Objects behave exactly the way you want them to, and the camera doesn't jump around the screen in a headache-inducing way.

Many things to do

Although the game is a bit slow at first and it is frustrating to wait for the townsfolk to complete a task, remember to be patient. When the game speeds up, it moves quickly and you may find yourself with more activities than you know how to do.

The failure of Townsmen VR

Simple art and music

While some players found the simple style of the game added to its charm, others found it took away from the game and was too simple. The graphics aren't particularly stunning, and you might sometimes mistake an actor for a dog.

No narration or motivation

A few players got bored after playing Townsmen VR for a while. They felt it wasn't worth playing without any real story to add intrigue to the gameplay and quickly abandoned their small village.
