Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a hit with gamers. Insomniac Games has done an exceptional job of making this sequel as good, if not better, than the previous game. The design of the New York City surroundings is immersive and allows you to swing and slide through the space. There are great new characters and an exciting storyline. Players, however, noticed a particular omission in one scene in the game.

Bryan Intihar, the director of Insomniac Games' Spider-Man 2, was interviewed on IGN's Beyond podcast and was asked about an Easter egg present in previous Spider-Man games but not in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 .
In the previous game, players wandering around Hell's Kitchen could find a building that had a trade blight on it with the words Nelson and Murdoch's. The scourge was referring to Matt Murdoch’s. It was a trademark of the company. This scourge referred to Matt Murdoch and Foggy Nelson from the Marvel comic Daredevil, who ran their law firm from this building. In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the building and sign are still there, with no text mentioning Nelson and Murdoch. The sign is empty and fans are asking themselves crucial questions.

Where are Nelson and Murdoch?
IGN asked Bryan Intihar about the missing Easter egg. The director was coy and cautious in his response, saying: “That’s a good question. » Intihar then added: “Stay tuned. It’s a good find.” The director's flirty response sparked online chatter, with speculation about Spider-Man and a crossover with Daredevil.
Insomniac has already generated excitement by announcing a Venom spinoff game. Jon Paquette, lead narrative director for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, spoke with Insider and was asked if there would be a spin-off with Venom, to which he replied:
“Here’s what we do. We’re focused on ‘Spider-Man 2,’ and what we’re going to do is wait and see how the fans react,” he said. “We will listen to the fans and ask ourselves what they really want.
Additionally, Intihar appeared on the Friends Per Second podcast and compared the Spider-Man games to the MCU, its interlocking characters and shared universe. Speculation has it that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and its successor Spider-Man 3 are part of a larger story. These and other developments make it seem like Insomniac Games is expanding its roster of Marvel characters, and one of them could be Daredevil.
Bryan Intihar's cryptic response neither confirmed nor denied Daredevil's appearance. However, clues suggest that the character will appear either in the game, in Spider-Man 3, or even that a future Daredevil game is in the works.

Another clue to a Daredevil crossover is Peter collecting a Nelson and Murdoch business card from a blind man.
Having a DLC game with Daredevil would take Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to another level. This would also allow Insomniac to gauge fan enthusiasm and reception for Daredevil, and use that as a template for a standalone Daredevil or future Spider-Man and Daredevil crossovers, such as in Marvel's Spider-Man 3.
The introduction of Daredevil could also be the connection between Spider-Man and the Wolverine game currently in development at Insomniac. The success of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 could pave the way for a larger shared universe. Intihar confirmed that the Wolverine game will take place in the same universe as Spider-Man.
During an appearance on the Kinda Funny Games podcast, Intihar confirmed that Wolverine and Spider-Man share the same universe; he said: “They are all 1048.” This number refers to Earth 1048, the universe designated by Insomniac Games for its Marvel characters.
Fans have been waiting for a Daredevil game for a long time. Hopefully, Intihar's tease is based on something substantial that will lead to Daredevil appearing in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 or his own game in the future.
