The Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Suit Everyone Is Talking About

Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been a huge hit with fans. The highly anticipated PS5 game is arguably the best the industry has to offer, and it's easy to see why. Insomniac Games gives you the ability to seamlessly switch between characters, Peter Parker and Miles Morales. This makes the game fascinating and keeps you hooked with its refreshing new approach to the gaming experience. Alas, a flaw has appeared, and fans have not been shy about expressing their opinion about it. Fans and gamers hated the superhero costume worn by Miles Morales in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

In Marvel's Spider-Man 2, our dear Miles wears many popular and beloved costumes: the Forever Suit, which pays homage to Black Panther and the late Chadwick Boseman, the Programmable Matter Suit, which is similar to Peter Parker's Iron Spider suit, or the S.T.R.I.K.E Suit, inspired by the Double Riders, to name just a few. The suit in question, known as the Evolved Suit, is unlike anything fans are familiar with, and it looks like it evolved a little too much.

The most unusual aspect is that the top of the suit, which usually covers the top of the head, is cut off, allowing our characters' hair to peek through the top. How can this make sense? It was a bold choice, and clearly they went too far in their attempt to freshen things up. He wears a pair of Adidas sneakers in colors that match the suit, but with too much white; that doesn't work either.

Not only are these aspects of the costume strange, they are impractical. Our hero's hair is easily recognizable and completely defeats the purpose of a secret identity. If he wears this outfit, he will not be able to move in secret for very long.

Hate is a strong word, but it seems accurate in this case as many fans have expressed their frustrations with the costume online. Like mastadonson on Reddit: “Normal mask, no shoes, better colors and a hood. Basically change everything, the spider logo is the only thing I like here.”

It's hard, but it doesn't stop there. Domdumo had this to say, “Those shoes and the big blue lines on his legs and his hair sticking out are ruining everything, Miles needs to be bullied in a normal school, that's what happens when your kid goes to Brooklyn visions “.

On the plus side, our two heroes have a wide array of incredible costumes (34 costumes in the base game and five additional costumes in the deluxe version), so you, as a player, will never need to choose the failed Evolved costume while you play.
