The name of this monitor may be a bit long to pronounce, but its impressive list of features is unmistakable. Therefore, the PG27AQDM includes cutting-edge hardware to bring the best-in-class gaming monitor to life.
A game-changing screen
The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is the first ROG OLED monitor to offer a super-fast 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. The 27″ panel has a resolution of 1,440p, which is an impressive feat for an OLED display with such a high refresh rate.
Additionally, the monitor features a micro-texture anti-reflective coating, used to reduce reflections on the screen. This helps improve the viewing experience in difficult lighting conditions. The peak brightness of 1,000 nits also makes viewing easier in all lighting conditions.
With the increase in the refresh rate of an OLED panel, ASUS added a unique cooling system to help reduce burn-in and issues caused by overheating. A custom heatsink and new internal configuration have been designed to improve overall cooling. The internal airflow has also been optimized. The new system dissipates heat more evenly across the back of the monitor, with an overall reduction of 5% compared to other 27″ OLED gaming monitors, while producing 17% higher peak brightness.
Other features also include uniform brightness, which is used to maintain the illuminance level across the entire panel, even with a completely white screen. Additionally, the new DisplayWidget Center allows users to use a mouse to change system functions and OLED settings through a new interface on the monitor.
In terms of color reproduction, the device has a DCI-P3 gamut of 99% and a Delta E < 2 color difference which provides excellent HDR visual performance.

Exclusive launch at Incredible Connection
ASUS South Africa has partnered with local retailer Incredible Connection to launch the new premium gaming monitor. The device will first be launched at Incredible Connection in Sandton Mall on September 30, 2023. It will then be expanded to Canal Walk on October 7, 2023. The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM will retail for R34,999. To mark this launch, all pre-orders placed before September 30 will benefit from a R3,000 cashback offer.
