Huawei has scheduled a product launch event for next Monday, September 25, during which it will unveil several new products. It is believed that the brand could also unveil the Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design.
Some leaks (1, 2, 3), including images of the device, have revealed key details about the special edition phone.
These images show that the Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design will be available in black and red. As we can see, like last year's Mate 50 RS Porsche Design, the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design features an octagonal photo module.
In terms of design, the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design seems to retain the octagonal camera layout on the back and carries over the ceramic design from the previous generation. The camera lens layout matches that of the Mate 60 series and shares the same specifications as the recently launched Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ in China. Its price should be around 10,000 yuan (~€1,300).

Another image reveals that the device has the model number ALN-AL10 and will be equipped with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Other features are probably the same as the Mate 60 Pro+.
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ features a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2720 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and Kunlun Glass 2 protection. It runs Harmony OS 4.0 and is powered by the Kirin 9000s chipset. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Mate 60 Pro+ has a 13-megapixel front camera and a 3D ToF sensor for 3D facial recognition. Its rear camera includes a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS and variable aperture, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens.
