ASUS SA confirme l'arrivée du ROG Ally en Afrique du Sud

ASUS has done a great job of pushing the boundaries of technology through its various collections. It shook up its laptop lineup with the Zebbook 17 Fold OLED, the smartphone market with the ROG Phone 06, and even the mobile gaming scene with the ROG XG Mobile. Each of these products brought a new and unique feature that encouraged other brands to take an interest in the issue. The brand itself has gone a step further with the new ASUS ROG Ally portable console (coming to South Africa soon).

Next-generation gaming performance

Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the ASUS ROG Ally console. This is a powerful new portable device that puts Windows 11 gaming at your fingertips. The device will be equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 processor. This processor is equipped with an RDNA 3 graphics card to deliver high-level gaming on the go.

Fans of the brand expect unprecedented gaming performance in such a small device. Users will be able to play many AAA games with excellent graphics and no compromises.

Under the console hood, heat will be reduced to a minimum thanks to the Zero Gravity thermal system. This system features a dual-fan approach, ultra-thin dissipation fins, and high-friction heat pipes. All of these elements guarantee optimal play at cool temperatures.

As for images, the device supports 120Hz gaming in Full HD (1080p) and FreeSyncTM Premium support. This allows you to obtain images without tearing or stuttering or FPS drops. The screen produces 500 nits of brightness, allowing you to play outdoors in daylight.

ASUS ROG Ally is a complete gaming rig in the palm of your hand

It may be compact, but it's powerful. The ROG Ally runs on the Windows 11 operating system. This means gamers can access all their favorite gaming clients and take their entire game library with them. This also includes all game streaming services. This way, players will always have the most recent games at their fingertips.

Meanwhile, navigating the Windows desktop is a breeze. Users can use the joysticks and buttons to navigate or simply select using the touchscreen.

Like most devices running Windows 11, the ROG Ally supports a special edition of Armory Crate. It lets you customize fast performance toggles and provides a game launcher, in-game monitoring software, Aura Sync support and much more.

When purchasing your ASUS ROG Ally, you will also have access to a 90-day trial period of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This gives you instant access to hundreds of games from the Xbox library as soon as your device boots up.

Aesthetic and ergonomic design

When it comes to portable devices, it is important to take care of the design and ergonomics. The ROG Ally highlights a lightweight and aesthetic design, supported by an ergonomic design. Its engineers developed countless prototypes to perfect the perfect machine, which allows users to carry it around and play all day long.

The ROG Ally weighs only 608g and can be easily carried in a pocket, backpack or even in the hands. It allows you to play without interruption in the greatest comfort.

The design features don’t stop there. The ROG Ally has ergonomic grips, with a unique triangular texture on the back. This allows a good grip of the device, whatever the angle. This also helps prevent accidental hand or finger slippage while gaming. Finally, the ROG style is everywhere, making it a quintessential ROG device.
