The first two games in the Mario Party series are coming to the Nintendo Switch Online N64 library thanks to the expansion pack.

Many people may not know this, but Nintendo has its own subscription service, as do other console makers like Microsoft's Xbox Live and Sony's PlayStation Plus. The subscription is incredibly affordable, at R629 for a whole year, but hasn't been very impressive when it comes to benefits. Of course, you have access to some DLC if you already own the base game, and you also have access to some older games through apps like Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online, Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online , and Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online, which offer some interesting options for older games if players want to explore a little nostalgia, or just explore some of the older games if they never owned the old entertainment consoles. Fortunately, this lack of excitement is about to change.
New Perks for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack
This is the most expensive version of Nintendo's online service, and so far it's been a bit lackluster. Fortunately for members who are already subscribed, that will soon change. Nintendo has just announced that additional benefits will be offered as part of a very attractive limited-time offer. There will be some surprising additions to the benefits already included in the service. These new benefits are as follows: Gold points earned when purchasing digital copies of “eligible games” will be doubled, meaning discounts will be greater when purchasing on the Nintendo eShop.
Additionally, Nintendo profiles will have a wider range of icons reminiscent of the Nintendo 64 era, such as the console controller itself, icons inspired by Mario Kart, Star Fox, Kirby and many other memorable characters and games from that era.
And of course, since this is the + Expansion Pack, it looks like there will be even more DLC available for Nintendo game subscribers (and maybe more?).

Limited time offer
The additional benefits will begin on November 1, according to the announcement made on the Nintendo Japan website. Fortunately for users in other regions, the offer has been confirmed for the rest of the world. Although the words “limited time offer” can be a little intimidating, don’t be too scared by this offer. It appears that this offer won't end until after January 31, and it appears that it will be replaced by a new perks system when it ends. I wouldn't wait too long if it's a subscription you're interested in, as the announcement stated that the offer was for existing members. As a precaution, take out your subscription before the end of October to be sure to benefit from the additional benefits.
Nintendo Switch games can seem unnecessarily expensive, so having a subscription service that gives you access to certain games and expansions came in handy. Now that there are even more perks becoming available, if you've been thinking about getting it, now is the time.
