THE world’s largest cultural song contest Eurovision is finally coming to Melbourne, and it promises to be a contagious party experience…but without the rash!

Since its beginning Eurovision has formed the careers for many big name artists such as ABBA (1974), Céline Dion (1988) and Conchita Wurst (2014) to name a few, and now Glynn Nicholas (producer, director) is about to launch his own vision to an international audience who love and appreciate theatre and of course Eurovision.

With “Nicholas’ behind this unique stage show, expect nothing short of a big show with a way over the top fusion of musical comedy, a concert and a live sporting event.  This loud and ambitious tone, encourages everyone to be interactive and cheer for their winners.

Eleven countries will be competing against each other, so expect everything from ballads, pop and the random off beat. The surprises won’t stop there, just like Eurovision there will be drama backstage adding more entertainment.

Legendary Bev Killick plays Bettina Bitjakokov the Belarusian hostess with moistest, who is guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs thanks to her appearances in “Kath and Kim”, “MDA” and her regular international tours.

As for the rest of the cast there is Elise Brennan, Julia Grenda, Kimberley Hodgson, Vincent Hooper, Jessica Lindon, Tehya Nicholas, Tom Oliver, Djon Alexander, Jem Nicholas, John O’Hara, Julie Sharpe, Sophie Wright and Jacob Dibb.

Alongside Glyn Nicholas, Jason Coleman famously known from his Ministry of Dance is the associate director, who will be providing the much needed flare for something of this level.
